Just came by here from google, while hunting for Perl blogs.
As it happens, I posted about this very subject the other day in my own blog: How (not) to write a Perl job ad. There are also some other links within that post.
This blog is replicated on use Perl; as well as here.
It's to some extent a documentation of a long thought process, and even now, I'm finding myself reposting things here that I've since thought about and revised my opinions on.
As to where it's headed? I'm not exactly sure, but I can see a light of some sort at the end of the tunnel, and I don't think it's an oncoming train!
